Stan Matwin

 

Stan Matwin is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of  Ottawa, Canada. Former President of the Canadian AI Society (caiac.ca) and the IPF WG on Machine Learning. His research is in machine learning, data mining, their applications, as well as in data privacy. Author and co-author of 200+ research papers, Stan has worked at universities in Canada, the U.S., Europe and Latin America. Besides "pure" research, Stan is also active in innovation (e.g. www.deveralogic.com), and in technology transfer between university labs and industry
