Research Group On Intelligent Interfaces
To be intelligent, interfaces must employ some form of knowledge-based reasoning in their behaviour. They can do this to several aims, and in several ways:
- they can adapt to the user,
- they can be able to generate natural language or multimedia messages,
- they can decide, autonomously, when to activate themselves and how to respond to the (presumed) user needs,
- they can consider user personality and emotions and behave 'believably' in their turn,
We wish to contribute to research on these topics.
Our competences and means are limited, but we may rely on some high-level and friendly cooperations.
