AN
EVALUATION ON PERSUASION DIALOGUES
Like
human persuaders, persuasive interactive technologies can bring about
positive changes in many domains, including health, business, safety,
and education (from the Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab
website)
This
study aims at collecting data about the effectiveness of the methods
commonly employed in human persuasion activity.
In the short
video, you will see a virtual agent (Valentina) who tries to persuade
another agent (John) to adopt a diet which includes an adequate proportion
of vegetables and fruit.
We ask you: - to look at the video
(this will take you only a few minutes); you may ask to see it several
times if you wish; - to fill in a questionnaire about the video you
have just seen.
You may repeat your evaluation with another
video if you have time to do it.
Thank you in advance for your
cooperation!
