AN EXPERIMENT ON PERSUASION MESSAGES


Like human persuaders, persuasive interactive technologies
can bring about positive changes in many domains,
including health, business, safety, and education

This study originates from the need of collecting data about the methods employed in human persuasion activity. In the past a respected art, then mostly associated with flamboyant deceivers, persuasion is currently attracting a growing interest from different souls of the Artificial Intelligent world.

A persuasive message can be thought of as a text where the speaker attempts to modify the listeners opinion or behaviour by means of a transfer of ideas: a pure transition of mental contents.

By participating in this study, we ask you:
- to fill in an initial (anonymous) questionnaire;
- to write a short persuasive message in the scenario you will be presented with.
