Submission

  • Please, prepare your submissions, strictly in PDF format, according to the Springer LNCS format and the rules indicated in the call for papers.
  • The submission phase requires filling up the form you are presented with the required data concerning the authors, titles, keywords for paper classification according to the conference topics. An email is sent to the contact author with the submitted information for further revisions and/or the next steps of the review process.
  • The upload file-size limit is 10MB. Huge PDF files can be compressed before their submission..zip and .gz are the allowed formats. Please make sure that your pdf files can be printed. Papers that cannot be printed correctly will be rejected without being reviewed.
  • The web-based submission system should be usable through most of the web-browsers (it was tested with the current releases of Mozilla/Firefox, Netscape, IExplorer, Opera, Lynx). However, If you experience problems, you can contact the conference staff via email at: ismis2006@di.uniba.it.
  • In case of particular problems that could hinder the submission process in some countries, special alternative arrangements can be made by contacting the conference staff at the address above.

Disclaimer. the publication of the paper is conditioned upon (registration and) oral presentation given by (at least) one of its authors. See the instructions for the registration procedure. Both registration and final version are due no later than June, 30th.

Final Versions of Accepted Papers

Accessing the conference management website (<Paper Upload> button on the right) you are requested to upload a compressed bundle (.zip or .gz) containing both the .pdf final version and its source files (.tex or .doc + figures) typeset according to the LNCS guidelines.

Length limits

  • full papers: 10 pages
  • short papers: 6 pages

Important

In order to have your paper published in the proceedings, the following steps have to be made:
  1. As indicated in the LNCS guidelines, per each paper, we need to receive the copyright form, via fax (+39-080-5443264) AND surface mail, addressed to the Program Chair (Dipartimento di Informatica • Campus Universitario • Via Orabona 4 • I-70125, Bari, Italy).

    For your convenience, we prepared a customized form.
  2. At least one of the authors must register to the conference before the announced deadline, following the procedure in the Registration section
